JJ a lansat mixtapeul "Stars and Stripes" - disponibil la download gratuit pe site-ul ei oficial, JJmusiconline.com. Este cel mai lung mixtape Okapi Sound, avand aproape 80 de minute. La sfarsitul lunii se va tine concertul de lansare.
Piesele au fost produse de Agresiv si are colaborari cu membrii Okapi Sound (Grasu XXL, Maximilian), Lora, Karie (de la HaHaHa Production), Dameon, Suzi, dar si numeroase remixuri (printre care unul al single-ului Morandi "Rock the world").
JJ s-a nascut la Hunedoara in 1987 iar la varsta de 5 ani s-a mutat impreuna cu mama sa in America. Acolo a stat in Manhattan si in Washington, iar in Virginia a aflat ce inseamna sa traiesti "in the ghetto". Inainte sa implineasca 16 ani s-a mutat inapoi in tara, in capitala. L-a cunoscut pe Mitza (membru Agresiv) in 2003 si astfel a ajuns sa lucreze cu Okapi Sound. Dupa cateva colaborari cu mai multi artisti romani (Connect-R, Grasu XXL) a tras si prima sa strofa in limba romana: pe piesa lui Maximilian "Pe langa telefon" (toamna 2008). In 2009 JJ a lansat piesa "Go Crazy" care a beneficiat si de un videoclip. In toamna trecuta s-a lansat mixtapeul Agresiv "Ap 71", pe care avea mai multe piese incluse. Pe langa mixtapeul "Stars and Stripes", ea lucreaza in paralel si la albumul sau de debut, care se va numi "Fear of happiness".
